5780 / 2019 High Holy Days Non-Member Registration

CONGREGATION DOR TAMID
5780 / 2019 HIGH HOLY DAY NON-MEMBER TICKETS, PARKING (ACCESSIBLE and PAID RESERVED), PRAYERBOOK, CHILD CARE, CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES, AND YIZKOR BOOK

August, 2019

Congregation Dor Tamid welcomes you and your family to our community for this year’s High Holy Days services. Being part of a congregational family extends far beyond Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. CDT provides a Jewish home for life cycle events, spiritual learning, social engagement, education, worship, and a connection with the Greater Jewish Community. We welcome you to join our CDT family, not only for the High Holy Days, but as your spiritual home.

For those of you who have joined us in years past, you will notice that there are now two options for 1st day of Rosh Hashanah morning worship on September 30.  Our early service, which begins at 8:30am, will have music led by our cantorial soloist and talented volunteer choir.  The late service, which begins at 12:15pm, is our exciting new Ruach service, featuring lively music led by our High Holy Day band.  Both services promise to be uplifting spiritual experiences that will help us welcome in the New Year.

L’Shanah tovah u’metukah,

Dan Rosen, President

Yizkor Book 5780 / 2019
In the rising of the sun and in its going down, we remember them.
In the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter, we remember them.
In the opening of buds and in the rebirth of spring, we remember them.
In the blueness of the sky and in the warmth of the summer, we remember them.
In the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of autumn, we remember them.
In the beginning of the year and when it ends, we remember them.
When we are weary and in need of strength, we remember them.
When we are lost and sick at heart, we remember them.
When we have joys we yearn to share, we remember them.
So long as we live, they too shall live, for they are now a part of us, as we remember them.
— Roland B. Gittelsohn
It is traditional to remember our loved ones with a donation of tzedakah. We suggest a donation of $18 per name for the first four names; $90 for 5-9 names; and $10 per additional name.
