About Us
Dear Friends,
Thank you for your interest in Congregation Dor Tamid, affiliated with the Reform Movement of Judaism. Jewish tradition creates the opportunity for our community to celebrate life, no matter what occasion. At times of joy, uncertainty or even grief, we find a strength within our tradition and our Dor Tamid community to live life fully and meaningfully.
This is the meaning of Dor Tamid—the Eternal Generation!
Our Reform Congregation is incredibly vibrant and committed to the Jewish community and a relevant, joyous interpretation of Judaism. With about two hundred religious school students and approximately three hundred member families, we represent one of the fastest growing Reform Congregations in Georgia.
We are a hospitable Jewish community that embraces interfaith families. Our doors are open to anyone who longs to become part of a community where friendship and the desire to learn, study and perpetuate Judaism are central goals.
We hope that you will take the opportunity to ask your questions, join us at services and then become a member(s) of our Dor Tamid family - we welcome you!
With the blessing of good health and abundant peace,
Denise Deitchman, President
