The Pillars of CDT
The Pillars of CDT
Congregation Dor Tamid’s Pillars of CDT program is a platform to steward donors and promote after-lifetime giving to benefit Congregation Dor Tamid. CDT will recognize any individuals and families who have included the congregation in their estate planning as Pillars of CDT. Through their generosity, they have planted seeds for those who will come after them, helping to ensure that the congregation will remain a strong home of worship, education, and service. Participation in this new and important program will signify to your loved ones and the entire community the importance of the passage of values from one generation to the next.
The Pillars of CDT process is very easy. You may express your plan for an after-life gift by completing a letter of intent. The letter of intent is not a legal obligation, and may be changed or modified at any time at your discretion. You do not need to know the giving vehicle or amount of your legacy commitment when you complete the letter. You have up to a full year in which to formalize your intent.
Commitments made as part of the Pillars of CDT program can be made to further strengthen either the Dr. Harold and Mildred (Terry) Warren Memorial endowment fund, which directs its proceeds to help support general operation of the synagogue each year, or the Senior Rabbinic Endowment Fund, which helps provide for continued clergy presence at CDT. All bequests made to CDT will be placed in the Warren Memorial Endowment unless otherwise directed.
Please contact a member of the Pillars of CDT steering committee if you have any questions.
